The Joy of Design Workshop 2026
A hands on workshop for design aspirants
April 11, 2026, 10:00am- 4:00pm at KMCT School of Design, Kozhikode
Second edition of this workshop is designed to introduce students to the endless possibilities of a career in design. Through interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, and inspiring talks by designers on design education, career prospects and more. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of design and its impact on society. Students will also get exclusive exposure to cutting-edge design tools, techniques, and workflows used by professionals.
For those on the threshold of making a decision about a career in design, this is a must-attend workshop and it is absolutely free!.

Travel Arrangements
We are providing free travel arrangements. You have to reach Kozhikode before 8.45am on your own. From Kozhikode, our buses will pick you up from:
Kozhikode Railway Station
Kozhikode Bus Stand
You will be dropped back after the workshop at 5.00pm at the same spots.

Who is it for?
Plus Two Students who will be appearing for board examinations this year and are interested in studying Design.

Materials for the workshop will be provided free of cost. You can also carry your creations home!

Proof of Talent
To qualify for this workshop, you need to prove your talent. Create a self-portrait that represents you, not just by looks but also by your personality, emotions, or interests. You can use colours, shapes, or any creative style to express yourself along with 3-4 progress images showing different stages of your work. Upload the images with the Google form.
Organisers reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
